My National Basketball Association regular season predictions for Week 1 resulted in 21 wins and 19 losses. My NBA preseason predictions resulted in 40 wins and 24 losses.
Here are my NBA Week 2 regular season predictions:

The Toronto Raptors are definitely losing today at the Philadelphia 76ers.
Detroit Pistons at New Orleans Pelicans: Zach is unsure about this matchup, he is leaning toward picking the Pelicans to win, but he likes a Pistons possible upset today with a $1 parlay.
Orlando Magic at Utah Jazz: Zach is unsure about this matchup, he is leaning toward picking the Jazz to win, but he seems to like the Magic winning today more over the Jazz than the Pistons upsetting the Pelicans.
San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns: Zach thinks Phoenix (an Arizona team) is probably going to win against San Antonio (a Texas team), after Texas won the World Series championship in Arizona last night! Zach only offers two reasons for why the Spurs will win tonight!
Zach likes all of the home teams to win today, but, generally speaking, I just don't see that happening very often! It is more realistic that the home teams are going to go 2-2 or 3-1 today. There are three possible upsets today. There is one game in each major U.S. time zone today.
The teams with the better winning percentage: Philadelphia 76ers (overall and home record), New Orleans Pelicans (overall and home record), Orlando Magic (overall record) and Utah Jazz (home record vs. the Magic's away record), San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns have the same won-lost record overall and the same won-lost record with the Spurs being on the road and the Suns being at home.
Opposite home/away teams with the better winning percentage: Toronto Raptors (home record) and Philadelphia 76ers (away record) have the same winning percentage, New Orleans Pelicans (away record), Orlando Magic (home record), San Antonio Spurs (home record) and Phoenix Suns (away record) have the same winning percentage
Conclusion on the above two paragraphs: The New Orleans Pelicans clearly should be the favorite to win out of anybody playing today. So maybe they have the most realistic chance of being upset today!
Toronto is 2-2 in the Eastern Time Zone this regular season. They lost to Philadelphia in Canada earlier this regular season and are 0-1 versus teams from the Eastern Time Zone this regular season. This is their first road game in the Eastern Time Zone versus an Eastern Time Zone Team this regular season.
Philadelphia is 1-0 versus teams from the Eastern Time Zone. This is their first home game in the Eastern Time Zone versus an Eastern Time Zone team this regular season.
Detroit is 1-1 versus teams from the Central Time Zone. This is their second road game in the Central Time Zone and they lost their first game in the Central Time Zone to Oklahoma City.
New Orleans is 1-0 against Eastern Time Zone teams and they beat the New York Knicks in New Orleans earlier this regular season.
Orlando is 0-0 against teams from the Mountain Time Zone and 2-2 against teams from the Western Conference. Orlando is 2-0 against teams not from Los Angeles and is 1-2 on the road against Western Conference teams. Orlando is also on a current two-game losing streak (and both of those games were on the road in Los Angeles). Orlando is 1-0 (Central Time Zone) against NBA teams east of the Pacific Time Zone.
Utah is 0-0 against Eastern Time Zone teams and 2-3 against teams from the Western Conference. Utah is 2-2 in the Mountain Time Zone this regular season. Utah is 1-0 versus the Central Time Zone, 0-1 versus the Mountain Time Zone, and 1-2 versus the Pacific Time Zone. Utah lost their first game against the Pacific and Mountain Time zones this season, but won against a team from the Central Time Zone and all of those games were in the Mountain Time Zone.
San Antonio is 1-1 against teams from the Pacific Time Zone. San Antonio is 2-2 against teams from the Western Conference. The Spurs just won at Phoenix on Tuesday and the Rangers in MLB just won against the Diamondbacks in Phoenix, Arizona, last night (Wednesday). I think Phoenix is probably going to win tonight. The Spurs current won-lost pattern says that they are definitely going to lose tonight (unless being on the road for a third straight game tonight means a win tonight instead).
Phoenix is 0-1 against Central Time Zone teams this regular season. They are 1-1 at home and on the road and they are 2-2 in the Western Conference. The current won-lost pattern this regular season definitely says the Suns should win tonight (unless being at home for a third straight game tonight means a loss tonight instead). Phoenix travels to Philadelphia for their next game on Saturday while San Antonio has a home game vs. Toronto on Sunday.

Free advice on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, predictions: If you think Philadelphia and Phoenix will both win today, DO NOT pick New Orleans and Utah to both win today also as they are all home teams today! You would probably be better off picking New Orleans to lose and Utah to win or Utah to win and New Orleans to lose if you really want to have a good shot to go 4-0 today!
Or, if you think New Orleans and Utah are both actually going to win today, you probably will want to pick either Philadelphia or Phoenix to lose tonight (but I would probably pick Utah or New Orleans to lose tonight before picking Philadelphia or Phoenix to lose tonight). San Antonio won at Phoenix on Tuesday, so I think Phoenix is probably a lock to win tonight after the fact that Texas just won three straight days in a row at Arizona in Phoenix in Major League Baseball to win the World Series! You might be better off picking Philadelphia to lose tonight in an upset!
I would pick Philadelphia to lose tonight before I would pick Phoenix to lose tonight! However, I think Phoenix is more likely to lose tonight than Philadelphia!
If you think Philadelphia is going definitely to win tonight, I would pick New Orleans or Utah to also win tonight (but not both) as I am pretty confident Phoenix is also winning tonight!
I picked New Orleans and Utah to both lose tonight, as I am a risk-taker and if you want to go the risky route, you should probably just copy all of my predictions! I feel like picking New Orleans to win and Utah to lose or Utah to win and New Orleans to lose is less risky than my predictions and you probably have a better guaranteed shot to go 3-1 today as opposed to 2-2.
I think it is smart to split up what you really think could actually happen, such as picking a road team to win and a home team to win as opposed to picking two road teams to win or two home teams to win, so that you are most likely to go 1-1 and you don't go 0-2 for two specific games.
I could talk about you trying to go 4-0 today, but I think it is better to try to win most of the time and go 3-1 as opposed to trying to go 4-0 and undefeated all of the time and you getting really frustrated and angry almost every single day as a result because you can only rarely pick every single game correct on any single day anyway!

Washington Wizards at Miami Heat: Zach is unsure, but he likes the Miami Heat to win. Washington could win in a tribute to Michael Jordan. The important Freemasonry numbers of 23 and 33 apply here like their won-lost records in the regular season could be after tonight's game.
Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls: Zach is unsure, but he really like Chicago to win! Or Brooklyn could win. The important Freemasonry numbers of 23 and 33 apply here like their won-lost records in the regular season could be after tonight's game.
Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder: Zach is unsure but he really likes Golden State to win. Oklahoma City's coach also could get a "symbolic" win tonight. Warriors coach Steve Kerr was Michael Jordan's teammate at the Bulls.
Dallas Mavericks at Denver Nuggets: Zach seems very unsure about this matchup, but he obviously likes the defending World Champion Denver Nuggets to win. Or Dallas could win. Mavericks coach Jason Kidd played basketball during Michael Jordan's time playing in the NBA.
Update: Jason Kidd won't be coaching tonight due to illness.
Memphis Grizzlies at Portland Trail Blazers: Zach is unsure, but he really likes Portland to win tonight. Memphis has good and strong Gematria narratives if they win the next two games they play which are against Portland. Portland coach Chauncey Billups played in the NBA near the end of Michael Jordan's NBA playing career.
