Zoe Beveridge then made two free throws for Gothenburg and the Swedes led 53-25.
Aubrey Cross then made only the second of two free throws for the Swedes and Gothenburg led 54-25 with 4:20 to go in the fourth quarter.
If my memory is correct, I believe one of the officials said something to Aubrey Cross before the second free throw.
It seemed like to me based on the final score Aubrey Cross' second free throw (that she made) to make it a Gothenburg 54-25 lead apparently did not count officially for whatever reason according to the scoreboard people.
Lindly Anderson then made a two-pointer for Gothenburg and they led 56-25, but after the two-pointer by Anderson the scoreboard in Ogallala said 55-25.
Ella Schluterbusch then made only the first of two free throws for Bridgeport.
Schluterbusch then hit a three-pointer for the Bulldogs and the score was 56-29.
Kinley Foster then made two free throws for Gothenburg and the Swedes won by a final score of 58-29. Officially, the final score was 57-29 apparently.
For Bridgeport, Reata Loomis scored four points. She made two two-point baskets.
Elizabeth Velazquez made three free throws and totaled three points.
Olivia Corman scored two points.
For Gothenburg, Zoe Beveridge scored 14 points. She made two three-pointers and four free throws.
Lindly Anderson scored 11 points. She made five two-point shots and one free throw.
Aubry Hall scored seven points. She made two three-point baskets and one free throw.
Kinley Foster totaled five points. She made one three-pointer and two free throws.
Aliyah Carlson scored three points and made one three-pointer.
Aubrey Cross made one free throw and totaled one point.
I believe Gothenburg actually scored 58 points instead of 57 points and the scoreboard people messed things up (and probably got confused) and probably took one point away from Aubrey Cross who earned her one point! The referees did say something to Aubrey Cross after she missed her only free throw miss of the game in the fourth quarter.
The game I believe officially was complete at 7:04 p.m. Mountain Time.
Bridgeport (22-4) is currently ranked 10th in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 44.3846 wild card points.
If the current NSAA rankings hold up, the Bulldogs will play #7 ranked Central City (23-2) in a District Final.
Gothenburg (20-3) is currently ranked 4th in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 45.9130 wild card points.
If the current NSAA rankings hold up, the Swedes will play #13 ranked Scotus Central Catholic (19-5) in a District Final.
In the other Class C1-10 Subdistrict Tournament Semifinal, the #1 ranked Ogallala Indians defeated the #4 ranked Chadron Cardinals 69-37, on Tuesday afternoon, February 17th, 2026, on the Steve Morgan Court in the Prairie View Gymnasium in Ogallala, Nebraska.
#2 Gothenburg will play against #1 Ogallala in the Class C1-10 Subdistrict Final on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time on the Steve Morgan Court in the Prairie View Gymnasium in Ogallala, Nebraska.
Chadron (16-10) is currently ranked 19th in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 42.5000 wild card points and they probably won't be playing in a District Final unless something unforeseen happens.
Ogallala (19-4) is currently ranked 6th in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 45.5652 wild card points.
If the current NSAA rankings hold up, the Indians will play the #11 ranked O'Neill Eagles (19-5) in a District Final.
It appears Bridgeport will be on the road for a District Final (if they make it) and it also appears Gothenburg and Ogallala have at least qualified for a District Final appearance.
Gothenburg is likely going to be hosting a District Final and at least be the higher seed.
Ogallala may or may not host a District Final (depending on who they play in a District Final) and they are likely going to be the higher seed against their District Final opponent.
