July 15th, 2025: Today's Biblical Message: Are you ashamed of telling people about Jesus Christ? Do you really want to know the Bible really well?

I don't even know why I am writing this post/devotional, but I am doing this!

Do you ever feel that way sometimes about something? That you don't even know why you do certain things? I do.

If you want to be successful in life you have to (and most importantly, you need to) trust in Jesus Christ as he is "The Solid Rock".

God requires and calls us to be faithful to him in our repentance (or turning away) from sins.

God doesn't ask you to be perfect, because he knows you are probably going to screw up every single day, but he commands and requests you to be perfect.

God freely gave you this gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ his Son. Because, truly you cannot have eternal life without Jesus Christ.

You can't get eternal life without believing in Jesus Christ! It is impossible. Do I need to make myself more clear?

I heard or read and saw recently that eternal life begins here on Earth here and now after you completely accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. It doesn't begin after you die when you either go to Heaven or Hell!

I thought that was "interesting" and it isn't an incorrect statement either.

Think about that for a moment.

If you really like a hobby, you will do everything to be around that hobby and incorporate that into your life as much as possible!

The same can be said of your Christian life (or a lack of a Christian life)!

A Christ-filled life will give you many opportunities on Earth to spend time with fellow believers in Jesus Christ!

A sinful life not filled with Christ won't give you as many opportunities as you could of had if you would have obeyed and trusted God and Jesus Christ the first time instead of doing that sinful behavior that you shouldn't be doing and that sinful behavior could be as simple as stealing or lying.

What you do here on this Earth during your lifetime ultimately determines your eternal destination of Heaven or Hell!

The clock is always ticking!

A life lived for God and Jesus Christ is truly going to be rewarding in the long-term. It isn't always going to be easy, and, in fact, it will be very difficult.

But when you do things that are good, moral, ethical and right, the people who don't believe in Jesus Christ and what you believe in will walk away from you and will go pursue other desires that are not healthy, not beneficial and not even helpful to you and to others.

So what can you do? Build up your faith!

Read the Bible and pray!

If you read only three verses from the Book of Proverbs every single day for a year, you will have read (or almost read) the entire Book of Proverbs.

And Proverbs has a lot of wisdom and great advice.

I like the idea of reading a verse and then skipping (28, 30, or 31 verses) and reading another verse (and then skipping another 28, 30 or 31 verses) and then reading another verse (and another verse and so on and so forth). And then you do that every single day for a month!

So for tomorrow, you read the next verse (or in other words, the first of many verses you skipped today)! So that way you aren't reading what you read today tomorrow (unless you want to of course)!

The goal is to read the Bible! I don't care how fast (or slow) you do it, just read it (or listen to it)! And I don't care in what order you read (or listen to) it in!

Or you could read a verse and then skip 12 chapters and read another verse.

Why do I think that is a good idea? It provides "variety" and the content may not be "as boring" and it is very useful information.

Especially in the Book of Proverbs in the Bible.

Also, if you read the same things all the time (and in the same way), you won't learn anything new!

You always need to try to experience positive and negative feelings, emotions and thoughts every single day of your life. And that's what you can do when you skip verses!

Of course, you can't really skip verses because you are eventually going to have to read them later (or listen to them somehow).

The goal for you should be to read a chapter of Proverbs (or any Bible book) a month!

Obviously, reading one chapter a month will get boring after a while (or perhaps very quickly), so you probably should double that (or perhaps even quadruple that pace)!

Maybe you should EVEN read ten chapters a month of the Bible!

That's the kind of effort I need, you need, we need, America needs and the world needs!

Actually, you really need to try to read 100 chapters a month (if you can do that)!

There are 1,189 chapters in the Bible!

So, 100 chapters a month means you will read the entire Bible in one year.

I read somewhere that if you read three chapters of the Bible every single day of the week (except on Sunday) and then you read five chapters of the Bible every single Sunday, you will read the entire Bible in one year!

Honestly, the Christian community needs to do even A LOT BETTER than THAT!

Christians should probably be trying to be read the Bible once every nine months, six months, or even three months.

And if Christians are really ambitious, they should be trying to read the entire Bible once every month (and, of course, that depends on if you actually can do that at all)!

The question should be, can I actually do that?

Do you know the Bible really well? Ask yourself that question.

Do you really want to know the Bible really well? Ask yourself that question.

Do you want to go to Heaven? Ask yourself that question.

When you honestly answer those questions, form a plan for what you want to do next and then try to and actually implement a Christian life more into your own life!

I need and Christians really need you to step up! Humble yourself, be a leader and don't make excuses!

People really do need to hear about the saving grace and mercy of Jesus Christ!

We need you to do more to help spread the message of Jesus Christ!

And many people won't get that message through their brain (or thick skull) if you don't share them and tell them that message!

There are no more chances to "get it right" or "correct your mistakes" after you physically die on this Earth.

Life is short and there is no guarantee of tomorrow physically on this Earth...at all!

Many of your family and friends perhaps need to find a better paid job for their life situation and with their personal relationship with Jesus Christ (even if it pays a lot less money)!

You need to ask your friends and family members if they are willing to spend one year in Hell? 5 years in Hell? 10 years? 15 years? 20 years? 50 years? 100 years? 1,000 years? 10,000 years? Anything longer than 10,000 years?

If they answer "No", then you have a chance to share with them about the saving grace and mercy of Jesus Christ!

If they answer "Yes", then maybe you should tell them that they need to re-evaluate their life seriously.

You need to explain to your friends and family that Hell was made for Satan, Lucifer, the Devil and his friends and it wasn't made for human beings to endure forever after they die on this earth at all!

Again, you need to "believe" in Jesus Christ and put your "faith" and "trust" in Jesus Christ!

In Mark 8:38 and Luke 9:26, it says that Jesus will be ASHAMED of YOU on Judgment Day if you are ASHAMED of telling OTHERS about Him (Jesus Christ)!

Here is the verse for Mark 8:38: If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.

Here is the verse for Luke 9:26: Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

In the verses above from the New International Version of the Bible "them" also can and does mean "you".

So tell others about Jesus Christ today and don't be ashamed about it because there is no life for those who are not in Jesus Christ!
