Ogallala Boys' lose to Sidney in High School Reserve Basketball on Monday, January 19th, 2026

The Ogallala Indians High School Boys' Reserve basketball team lost to the Sidney Red Raiders 66 to 41 on Monday, January 19th, 2026, at the Ogallala Auditorium in Ogallala, Nebraska.


Zack Roberts scored 28 points for Sidney. He made four threes and two free throws.


Roberts scored 16 points in the second half.


Anthony Perrin scored 16 points for Ogallala. He made six two-pointers and four free throws.


Perrin scored eight points each in the first half and in the second half. He also scored a personal season-high for points exclusively for Ogallala homes games on Monday night in Reserve, Junior Varsity and Varsity games.


Owen Narjes made a two for Sidney to start things off. Then, Jacoby Bauer made a two for Ogallala and tied up the score at two.


Narjes then scored again to give Sidney a 4-2 lead and Anthony Perrin answered with his own two points for Ogallala.


Owen Narjes scored two more again and Beckan Cain made two free throws for Ogallala to tie the game at six apiece.


Ogallala then took the lead on a Wiley Krab free throw with 3:03 left in the first quarter. Then, a two-pointer from Tate Kirchner gave the Indians a 9-6 lead.


Zack Roberts then made a two for Sidney and Anthony Perrin made a two-pointer for Ogallala.


Roberts than made a three and Narjes made a two for Sidney and the Red Raiders led 13-11.


Zack Roberts then made another two-pointer and #0 made a two for Sidney and Ogallala trailed 17-11 after one quarter.


Roberts then made his third two-pointer of the game, and Sidney led 19-11 before Anthony Perrin made a two to end Sidney's scoring streak of 11 straight unanswered points.


Owen Narjes then hit a three and Sidney led 22-13. Narjes scored 11 points in the first half and didn't score again until the third quarter.


Liam Ford made a two for Sidney and then Wiley Krab hit a two for Ogallala and Sidney led 24-15.


Sidney then hit two straight threes with one three each from #0 and Corbin Bondegard and Ogallala trailed 30-15.


Then, Ty Patin made a two and got Ogallala on the scoreboard again.


Anthony Perrin then made his third two-pointer of the first half and Ogallala trailed 30-19 with 3:16 left in the second quarter.


Ty Patin made another two and Ogallala trailed 21-30.


Sidney then tacked on a three from Zack Roberts and the Red Raiders led at halftime 33-21.


Roberts scored 12 points in the first half for Sidney including two three-point makes.


Owen Narjes and Zack Roberts each made a two-pointer to kick off the second half for Sidney.


Beckan Cain then made a two while Wiley Krab made a three-pointer and Ogallala trailed 37-26 with 4:57 left in the third quarter.


Cain then made a free throw and Ogallala trailed by ten 37-27.


Zack Roberts then made his fifth two-pointer of the game.


Anthony Perrin then made two free throws and Ogallala trailed 39-29.


Beckan Cain also made two free throws and Ogallala only trailed by eight at 39-31 with 2:47 left in the third quarter.


Anthony Perrin then made a two and Ogallala trailed by just six at 33-39.


Cooper Sparks then hit a three for Sidney and it ended Ogallala's scoring run of six straight points.


Sidney led 42-33.


Anthony Perrin then made back-to-back two-pointers for his fifth and sixth two-point buckets of the game and Ogallala trailed 37-42 late in the third quarter.


Zack Roberts then hit a three for Sidney while Beckan Cain made a two for Ogallala and after three quarters Sidney led 45-39.


Roberts then made a two and also made two free throws and Sidney led 49-39.


Corbin Bondegard then hit a two and also made a three for Sidney and the Red Raiders led 54-39.


#0 then made a two-pointer for Sidney while Beckan Cain scored a two-pointer for Ogallala and the score at that point was Sidney 56 and Ogallala 41.


Cooper Sparks hit another three and Zack Roberts hit his fourth three of the game for Sidney and Ogallala trailed 62-41 with 3:29 left in the fourth quarter.


Owen Narjes made a two and Zack Roberts made a two for Sidney and that was the final score as Sidney won 66-41.


Ogallala is now 2-4 in High School Reserve games so far this season. They are 2-3 in home games.


For Sidney, Owen Narjes scored 15 points. He made one three-pointer.


Corbin Bondegard scored eight points. He made two threes.


#0 scored seven points. He made one three-pointer.


Cooper Sparks scored six points. He made two threes which were both in the second half.


Liam Ford scored two points.


For Ogallala, Beckan Cain scored 11 points. He made five free throws.


Cain scored nine points in the second half.


Wiley Krab scored six points. He made one three-pointer and one free throw.


Ty Patin made two two-point baskets to total four points.


Jacoby Bauer and Tate Kirchner each scored two points.


Ogallala travels to Alliance for High School Girls' and Boys' Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball on Friday, January 23rd.


Then, Sidney travels to Ogallala for High School Girls' and Boys' Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball on Saturday, January 24th.


Ogallala will travel to Cozad for the final High School Girls' and Boys' Reserve basketball games of the season for Ogallala on Monday, January 26th.
