Ogallala destroys North Platte in Girls' Varsity High School Basketball Exhibition Game

The Ogallala Lady Indians Girls' High School Varsity basketball team defeated the North Platte Bulldogs in an exhibition game 85-20 on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at the Prairie View Gymnasium on the Steve Morgan Court in Ogallala, Nebraska!

Jaycee Burk led North Platte with six points by making two three pointers.

Ogallala's Brooklyn Robb scored 17 points including one free throw make with all of her points coming in the second half.

Ogallala led 24 to 6 after one quarter.

North Platte scored eight and Ogallala scored 19 in quarter number two.

So Ogallala led 43 to 14 at halftime. I wrote 43 to 13 on my scorecard though.

To start the third quarter and for pretty much all of the second half, both teams seemed to use their non-starters and third-string basketball players.

In the third quarter North Platte scored just three while Ogallala scored 25.

So the Indians led 68 to 17 after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Ogallala scored 17 and North Platte scored just three again.

For the Bulldogs, Payton Jones scored four points. She made two free throws.

Haidyn Hansen, Khloe Haneborg, Josie Douglas, Aryadnna Reyna and Norah Wurl scored two points each.

Hansen and Douglas each made two free throws.

For the Lady Indians, Harper Smith scored 14 points with 12 points coming in the first half. She made two threes.

Aniston O'Neil and Tenlie Flansburg each finished with 10 points.

O'Neil scored all ten in the first half which included two three-pointers and two free throws.

Flansburg made two threes and scored all of her points in the second half.

Sam Bell scored nine points (all in the second half) including a three-pointer!

Shaydyn Rasby scored seven including a free throw make. All of her points came in the first half!

Hayden Shaw scored five points which were all in the first half. She made one three-pointer.

Inga Burton scored five points including a three-point make. She scored only two points in the second half.

Laney Caskey scored four points and made two free throws. She made all of her points in the first half.

Addison Slama scored two points in the first half while Kooper Knispel scored two points in the second half.

North Platte hosts Norfolk today on Friday, December 5th, 2025! North Platte then hosts South Sioux City tomorrow.

Ogallala hosts Mullen today. Minden will travel to Ogallala tomorrow on Saturday, December 6th, 2025.
