Ogallala sweeps Alliance in Girls' High School Varsity Volleyball on Thursday, September 24th, 2026

The Ogallala Indians High School Girls' Varsity Volleyball team defeated the Alliance Bulldogs three sets to zero on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, in the Prairie View Gymnasium on the Steve Morgan Court in Ogallala, Nebraska.

Ogallala won 25-12, 25-12 and 25-22.

Alliance (currently 3-15 before the September 29th, 2026, matches) plays O'Neill and Broken Bow on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026.

Ogallala (11-5) hosts Gering (18-2) on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026. The Indians then host Gothenburg on Tuesday, October 6th. Ogallala then hosts Minden and Broken Bow for a triangular on Thursday, October 8th.

Kaitlyn Shannon and Maslin Breen each had five kills and one block each for Alliance.

Shaydyn Rasby led Ogallala with 12 kills (11 kills for sure).

Harper Smith led Ogallala with four ace serves.

Alex Ervin and Molly Armijo each had one block.

Alex Ervin also had one ace and eight kills.

Ogallala led 5-3, 10-7, 15-9, 20-11 and they won the first set 25-12 thanks to a Molly Armijo block I believe.

In the second set, Ogallala won 5-1, 10-1, 15-5, 20-5 and they led 22-10 before they won 25-12 thanks to a Addison Holm kill for Ogallala.

In the third set, it was a lot more competitive. Ogallala led 5-4, 10-9 and then Alliance led 15-14.

Ogallala led 20-17, 22-18 before Alliance came back to get it to a 23-21 Ogallala led.

Ogallala won the fifth set on an Alex Ervin kill which the Indians won 25-22.

For Alliance, Brooke Bailey had four kills (three kills for sure).

Jadyn Aguallo, Brinlee Lanik and Avery Gomez and Ande Girard each had one ace serve.

Ryli Poss had one kill for the Bulldogs.

Kamryn Klockman had nine kills for Ogallala.

Addison Powell had five kills.

Inga Burton and Charlie Caskey each had two ace serves for Ogallala.

Kooper Knispel had two kills.

Samantha Bell had one ace serve.

Addison Holm had one kill.

In the Junior Varsity matchup, Ogallala won over Alliance 25-10 and 25-11.

Aubrey Dudden had two kills for Alliance.

Tenlie Flansburg had three ace serves, five kills and one block for Ogallala.

Addison Holm had eight kills and 1/2 a block for Ogallala.

Ogallala led 5-1, 10-1, 15-7, 20-9 before winning 25-10 in set one.

In set two, Ogallala led 5-3, 10-4, 15-5, 20-8, and 22-9 before winning 25-11.

Alexis Shelmadine and Corley Conner each had one kill for Alliance.

For Ogallala, Inga Burton had one ace serve and two kills.

Samantha Bell and Julia Flaming each had two kills.

Jessa Curtis had 1/2 a block and one kill.

Addlie Flansburg and Rosalie Davis each had one kill.

Marly Eastman had one block.

In the Reserve match (below the Junior Varsity level), Ogallala won 25-10 and 25-21.

For Alliance, Alexis Shelmadine and Delaney Jelinek each had two ace serves and two kills each.

Grace Shrewsbury had three ace serves and one kill.

Ogallala's Jessa Curtis recorded six ace serves and Caydence Rasby recorded three aces and three kills.

Ogallala led 5-0, 10-2, 15-6, 20-10 and won set one 25-10.

In set two, Ogallala led 5-4, 10-7, trailed Alliance 16-15 and 20-19 and then Ogallala came back to win 25-21.

For Alliance, Carson Graham had one ace serve while Corley Connor had one kill.

For the Ogallala Lady Indians, Rosalie Davis had one ace serve, one block and two kills.

Addlie Flansburg had three kills. Samantha Tickle had two ace serves and one kill.

Tessa Kirchner and Olivia Slama each had two ace serves.

Kiera Krajewski had one ace and one kill.

Julia Flaming and Mary Finken each had one ace serve.
