Ogallala wins against Perkins County in Girls' High School Reserve Basketball on December 8th, 2025

In a game filled with many game clock stoppages, the Ogallala Lady Indians Girls' High School Reserve Basketball team won against the Perkins County Plainsmen 53-29 on Monday, December 8th, 2025, at the Ogallala Auditorium in Ogallala, Nebraska.

Macey Cole scored a team-high eight points for Perkins County. She made four two-pointers.

Haidyn Rapp scored a team-high 13 points for Ogallala. She made five two-point shots and three free throws.

Ogallala led 17-14 with 1:10 left in the first quarter.

Perkins County trailed 19-14 after one quarter.

The Lady Indians led 23 to 16 with 5:00 left in the second quarter.

After two quarters at halftime, Ogallala led 30-18.

Perkins County trailed 35-19 with 6:38 left in the third quarter.

Ogallala continued to extend their lead as they led 38 to 21 with 3:02 left in the third quarter.

Perkins County trailed by 20, 41-21 after three quarters.

Ogallala won the game by a final score of Perkins County 29 and Ogallala 53.

For Perkins County, Marisa Wykert scored six points and made three two-pointers. Paisley Mayer also scored six points and she made two free throws.

Olivia Gengenbach scored four points. She made two free throws.

Alyssa Laber and Ryleigh Johnson each made a two-point shot.

Kinley Richmond made a one-point shot by making a free throw.

For Ogallala, Kooper Knispel scored 12 points. She made five two-pointers and two free throws.

Chloe Gager scored 11 points. She made three three-pointers and one two-pointer.

Marly Eastman scored nine points. She made one three-pointer.

Charlie Caskey and Julia Flaming each scored three points including making a free throw.

Sara Stevens made a two-point basket.

After this game, Perkins County has 0 wins and 1 loss in Girls' High School Reserve games while Ogallala has 2 wins and 0 losses in Girls' High School Reserve games.

Ogallala's next home game is today on Monday, December 11th, 2025, vs. Hershey.

Ogallala also has another home game against Chase County on Monday, December 15th, 2025.

Perkin's County's next official Reserve game will be at home against Chase County on Monday, January 12th, 2026.

Perkins County has home games for both Girls' and Boys' Junior Varsity and Varsity on Friday, December 12th, 2025, vs. Kimball.

The Plainsmen will also host Paxton for Girls' and Boys' Junior Varsity and Varsity next Tuesday, December 16th, 2025.

Ogallala will be at Chase County on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, for both Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball.

Ogallala will be at North Platte for games against North Platte St. Patrick's on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, for both Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball.

Ogallala will then host Hershey on Friday, December 19th, 2025, for both Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball.
