Bridgeport (22-4) will play the #1 seed the Ogallala Indians (23-0) at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time in Ogallala on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at the Prairie View Gymnasium.
Bridgeport (22-4) is currently ranked fifth in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 45.1923 wild card points.
Ogallala (23 wins and 0 losses) is currently ranked first in Class C1 according to nsaahome.org with 47.9130 wild card points.
A win by Bridgeport against Ogallala would ensure Bridgeport would be the designated home team in a District Final.
If Bridgeport is ranked 4th or 5th according to nsaahome.org after all of the Subdistrict Tournaments are completed in Class C1 across Nebraska, it is likely they could play Doniphan-Trumbull (currently ranked 12th) or Winnebago (currently ranked 13th) in a District Final.
A loss by Bridgeport against Ogallala means Bridgeport likely will be one of the top three teams in Class C1 who don't win a Subdistrict Tournament Final.
If Bridgeport is ranked 6th or 7th according to nsaahome.org after all of the Subdistrict Tournaments are completed in Class C1 across Nebraska, it is likely they could play Omaha Concordia (currently ranked 9th and the only team in the top 16 in Class C1 who won't be playing in a Subdistrict Tournament Final), Lincoln Christian (currently ranked 10th) or Mount Michael Benedictine (currently ranked 11th) in a District Final.
The Bridgeport Bulldogs appear to be headed to a District Final and whether they are at home or on the road is yet to be determined, but it seems more likely than not that they will probably be the designated home team in a District Final.
It appears Ogallala will likely play the winner of the C1-6 Subdistrict Tournament which will be the Columbus Lakeview Vikings (currently ranked 29th in Class C1) or the O'Neill Eagles (currently ranked 47th in Class C1) in the District Final on Saturday, February 28th, 2026.
If Ogallala loses to Bridgeport and is not the top seed in Class C1, it appears they will play one of the following teams in a District Final: Syracuse (currently ranked 14th according to nsaahome.org), Adams Central (currently ranked 15th), West Point-Beemer (currently ranked 16th), Milford (currently ranked 17th), Scotus Central Catholic (currently ranked 19th) or Lincoln Lutheran (currently ranked 21st).
Ogallala probably will be the designated home team in a District Final regardless if they win or not against Bridgeport.
