Ogallala is 4-0, defeats Chase County in Girls' High School Reserve Basketball on Monday, December 15th, 2025

The Ogallala Lady Indians Girls' High School Reserve Basketball team defeated the Chase County Longhorns 59 to 24 on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at the Ogallala Auditorium in Ogallala, Nebraska.

Mya White scored 10 points for Chase County. She made five two-point shots.

Sam Bell scored 17 points for Ogallala. She made five three-pointers!

Ogallala led 11-2 with 3:20 left in the first quarter.

Chase County then tacked on some points and trailed 15-7 after the first quarter.

Ogallala then led 19-13 with 4:49 left in the second quarter.

Ogallala kept the pressure on and led 24 to 14 with 2:11 left in the second quarter.

The Lady Indians led 29 to 16 after two quarters.

Chase County trailed 42 to 18 with 3:32 left in the 3rd quarter.

The Longhorns trailed 47 to 22 with 40.4 left in quarter number three.

Ogallala led 50-22 after three quarters.

Chase County scored their final bucket somewhere in the last 1:08 of the fourth quarter and Ogallala won 59 to 24.

For Chase County, Taya Stromberger scored six points. She made three two-pointers.

Jordyn Stafford scored four points.

Alayna Smith scored two points.

Amelia Fries and Edisyn Teply each made a free throw and scored one point.

For Ogallala, Inga Burton made one three-pointer, four two-point shots and a free throw and scored 12 points total.

Charlie Caskey scored a total of ten points including making four two-pointers and two free throws.

Sara Stevens made three three-point shots and totaled nine points.

Marly Eastman scored five points including a free throw make.

Haidyn Rapp scored four points.

Julia Flaming scored two points.

Chase County fell to 1-1 on the season. Ogallala improves to 4-0 on the season.

Ogallala plays Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball today on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, in North Platte at North Platte St. Patrick's High School.

Chase County hosts Wray, Colorado, in Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball on Thursday, December 18th, 2025.

Ogallala hosts Hershey on Friday, December 19th, 2025, in Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball.

Ogallala will play against Thunder Basin from Gillette, Wyoming, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, in Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball on Saturday, December 20th, 2025.

Chase County travels to Broken Bow, in Girls' and Boys' High School Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball on Saturday, December 20th, 2025.
