So here are my predictions to win and lose for NBA regular season Week Five in the 2023-24 season.

As of November 22nd, 2023, I am requiring myself to hypothetically bet (I am not actually betting/gambling in real life at all anytime soon) at least $5 for every game I bet on specifically for today (Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023). I am given $100 hypothetical dollars and my goal is to keep half of that money ($50) for as long as possible. I make more money by placing higher hypothetical bets. After today (Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023), I can choose to bet on which games I want to bet on. I don’t have to bet on certain games (if I really don’t want to). When the hypothetical money goes below $50, I cannot hypothetically bet for the next seven game days as I have to hypothetically make the money that I lost back by hypothetically working (and hypothetically getting paid) during this period of time. I will hypothetically get paid 10 percent of the money I will have left over every seven game days until I have $50 or more again. I make ten additional hypothetical dollars each week (if and only if) I bet more games correctly than more games incorrectly for that specific week.

Celtics current streak: Lost one; Celtics current streak at home: Won five (Last time they lost in the regular season at home was on March 5th against the New York Knicks. The Celtics are on a twelve-game winning streak currently in the regular season at home.)

Interesting fact(s): Milwaukee started the first five games of the regular season by winning every other game and they haven’t done that since. Boston hasn’t only won or lost exactly one consecutive game yet in the regular season. So, for example, if they won the previous game (and lost the game before that), they have always won the next game so far.

Milwaukee is 5-1 in their last six games. When Milwaukee has actually lost, they are on a three-game losing streak on the road. Milwaukee also has winning streak in the regular season of odd numbers (and never even numbers so far.) Washington hasn’t won any of their last six games. Boston is also 5-1 in their last six games. Boston hasn’t lost yet at home this regular season (or even in the preseason) and their current winning streak at home is seven games (regardless of whether that is a preseason, regular season or playoff/postseason game). Boston lost back-to-back games the last time they actually lost after a win.

Reasoning for prediction to win: I just don’t see Boston actually losing this game after what happened at Charlotte on Monday. Boston can pick up their 13th straight regular season win tonight on the four date numerology (when you break it down into a single digit number).
