Rockies are 6-15 when they give up 5+ runs

The Colorado Rockies just set a new record from a previous record that they created early on in the season.

For a sixth straight game, the Rockies gave up five or more runs to the opposing team.

The previous record was five straight games when they gave up five or more runs from April 5th through April 9th.

The Colorado Rockies have a record of six wins and fifteen losses when they have given up five or more runs in a game this season.

Rockies starting pitchers have given up at least five runs in seventeen of those twenty-one games.

Of those four games in which the starting pitcher gave up less than five runs, they have a 1-3 record.

Of those 21 games:

*Colorado has one win and four losses in each of Tyler Anderson’s and Kyle Freeland’s starts for a combined record of 2-8.

*They have zero wins and two losses in each of Chad Bettis’ and Antonio Senzatela’s starts for a combined record of 0-4. And Colorado lost in Jeff Hoffman’s one major league start this season.

*The Rockies have two wins and one loss in each of Jon Gray’s and German Marquez’s starts for a combined record of 4-2.

The Colorado bullpen didn’t allow any runs in three of those 21 games: On April 22, 27 and 29.

This season they have a record of three wins and two losses when they have given up just 5 runs.

The Rockies have 17 wins and 20 losses this season and are 6 ½ games back in the NL West.
