The Sidney Red Raiders defeated the Ogallala Indians 33-0 at the Ogallala High School football field in Ogallala, Nebraska, on Friday night, October 3rd, 2025!
There were not very many penalties called throughout the entire game!
Rhys Dorcey scored two rushing touchdowns for Sidney, one from three yards and one from five yards.
Lance Holly caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Alek Doty.
Alek Doty also ran for a fifteen-yard touchdown and Keian Kaiser scored a 54-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage at the start of the second half!
Despite the loss, Ogallala's defense seemed to play pretty good and contained Sidney's ability to throw the football.
Ogallala gave up between 135 and 149 passing yards and Ogallala also allowed 267 rushing yards.
Sidney went three-and-out just twice on Friday night, once in each half.
Ogallala went three-and-out six times on Friday night, three in each half.
The Red Raiders defense was so dominant that the Indians offense only got the football across midfield once the entire game!
Each team had possession of the football 10 times.

Sawyer Smith caught six passes from Cain for a total of 99 yards. Smith totaled 87 yards receiving in the first half! He had just 12 yards in the second half!
Rhys Gilmore caught three footballs for 7 yards and Trenton Northrup caught one pass for six yards.
Cain also threw completions of 10 yards and 3 yards to somebody on Ogallala, but I'm not sure who.

Sawyer Smith had two carries for -7 yards and Edan Cain had one carry for -7 yards as well.
Ogallala's Amaythian Clark had two rushes for -12 yards.

As for Sidney, they had just two punts all night as Alek Doty had net punts of 33 and 38 yards after the Ogallala punt returns. That totals 71 yards for an average of 35.5 yards per punt.
To start the game Ogallala punted.
Then, Sidney got the ball and Kyle Jaggers caught a pass for 45 yards to the Ogallala 6.
Sidney then scored a touchdown on fourth down and goal in which Lance Holly caught a five yard touchdown pass from quarterback Alek Doty.
Doty then made the point-after-touchdown.
Ogallala punted twice and Sidney punted once.
Sidney ran two plays and that was the end of the first quarter.
Sidney 7, Ogallala 0.
Alek Doty then scored a touchdown by going right to the middle of the field and then he decided to change his mind and go left and ran into the end zone just inside the left pylon in the west end zone.
Doty then again made the point-after-touchdown and it looked like the football went over the right upright and to the right of it which would have been a missed extra point, but the officials gave Sidney the point anyway.
Sidney 14, Ogallala 0.
Ogallala punted again and went three-and-out for the third straight offensive drive.
Sidney got the ball and Rhys Dorcey scored from three-yards out on a quick snap after the previous play for a touchdown. Again, Alek Doty made the extra point.
Sidney 21, Ogallala 0.
Ogallala started their next drive with 3:06 to go in the second quarter.
Ogallala's best play of the night was on third down from the Ogallala 42 and Edan Cain threw a pass which Sawyer Smith caught and ran for 45 yards to the Sidney 13.
Sidney blitzed on the play which caused the big play for Ogallala.
Rhys Gilmore caught a four-yard pass to put the ball at the Sidney 9.
Edan Cain threw a fade route with 57.5 seconds to go to Sawyer Smith on the right side (and it was a very slow pass) and Sidney's Rhys Dorcey intercepted the pass and slid in the end zone for a touchback instead of returning the interception.
Sidney moved the ball from their own 20 to their own 47 and then Sawyer Smith intercepted a pass at the Ogallala 18 yard line with 8.1 seconds left in the half.
Sawyer Smith then caught a 14 yard pass to end the first half.
Sidney led Ogallala 21-0 at halftime.
Sidney's Keian Kaiser ran for 54 yards running straight up the middle mostly, and going left at the start of the play, on the first play from scrimmage, to start the second half, to give Sidney a 27-0 lead.
The extra point was missed by Alek Doty as it looked like he kicked the ball too late and the holder probably let go of the football too soon.
The football went end-over-end and landed on the ground in front of the goalpost in the west end zone.
Ogallala went three-and-out on back-to-back drives.
Sidney also went three-and-out once.
Sidney then turned the ball over on downs as Rhys Dorcey was about half a football short on 4th and 3 at the Ogallala 17.
Ogallala had two incompletions, then three straight completions.
The two positive yardage plays were to Sawyer Smith on third and fourth down, one for eight yards and the second one for four yards to give Ogallala a first down.
Ogallala then had to punt after Edan Cain got sacked for an seven-yard loss back to the Ogallala 21.
Alek Doty then lost five yards for Sidney at midfield and that was the end of the third quarter.
Sidney 27, Ogallala 0.
Sidney then scored a five-yard rushing touchdown from Rhys Dorcey and Sidney led 33 to 0.
Sidney then had to go for two as Rhys Dorcey fumbled the snap on the extra point kick and Alek Doty picked it up and threw a pass on the right side (intended for Kyle Jaggers) and I believe Edan Cain knocked the pass down in the east end zone.
Sidney 33, Ogallala 0.
Ogallala then went three-and-out and punted.
Sidney had the ball with 7:24 left to go in the fourth quarter.
On the final drive of the game, Sidney ran 12 plays. Matt Corne ran the football on the last six plays for Sidney for a total of 37 yards.
Edan Cain got a sack of the Sidney quarterback for a nine-yard loss on the third play of the final drive of the game.
Four plays later after the Cain sack, Sidney had a too-many-men-in-the-huddle penalty called on them, when I believe Sidney took out all of their starting players.
Sidney won by a final score of 33-0.
Sidney's Alek Doty was 9 for 22 passing for 135 yards for sure and a touchdown pass and an interception.
Alek Doty or Sidney backup quarterback Campbell Shoemaker had one completion for between zero and 14 yards.

Lance Holly had three catches for 28 yards.
Keian Kaiser had at least two catches with one of the catches being for 18 yards. He also had another catch between zero and 14 yards.

Kash Knobbe had a 12-yard catch.
There were two catches for one or two players on Sidney, one for six yards and one for 11 yards.
Rhys Dorcey had 25 carries for 140 yards.

Matt Corne had six rushes for 37 yards.
Doty rushed for 17 yards on 12 carries.
Kyle Jaggers ran the ball twice for 15 yards.
Somebody for Sidney, I don't know which player(s), had two rushes for two yards each.
